It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we, the family of Angus John Morrison, age 59 announce his passing on April 12, 2021 at the Northside General Hospital. Born in Baddeck, he was the son of Angus and Judy (Oland) Morrison of Sydney Forks. In his younger years, Angus enjoyed playing hockey with the County Selects and the New Waterford Jets. He later helped with coaching house league hockey in Sydney Mines and North Sydney. Angus worked as a drywaller with his father before moving on to his passion of cooking where he became a red seal cook. He also enjoyed playing darts, golfing, fishing and curling where he made many friendships. Besides his parents, Angus will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 33 years, Juanita (Musgrave), his sons Dallas, Calgary and Tyler, Frenchvale. He is also survived by his brother Kevin, Sydney Forks, his mother-in-law Mary Musgrave, Frenchvale Road, two sisters-in-law Patricia (Bill) Kachafanas, Sydney and Charlene (Chad Lewis) Musgrave, Augusta, Maine. Brother-in-law Lyle Musgrave, McAdam, New Brunswick and several nieces and nephews. Angus was predeceased by his sister Jayne, his brother Barry and his father-in-law Charles Musgrave. As per Angus' wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of Forest Haven Memorial Gardens and a private service will be held at a later date.
