Lewis, Cathy Elizabeth - Glace Bay

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cathy (Gilliam) Lewis on January 25, 2021 at home. Born in Glace Bay she was a daughter of the late William and Kay (Campbell) Gilliam. Cathy was employed with Canadian Tire for 12 years and spent the next 10 years providing home care. Cathy was a very kind and giving soul with the gift of gab. She will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity and willingness to help anyone in need.

She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline (Naish), and son Jimmy; brothers Billie and Melvin; sisters Wickie, Sharon, Viola; grandchildren and the loves of her life, Brooklynn, Nathan and Ellie-Mae; great granddaughter Peyton as well as her former husband Jim.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Kevin. Cremation has taken place under the care of Forest Haven. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am Saturday, January 30 2021 in Holy Cross Catholic Church with Fr. Norman MacPhee officiating. Interment will take place at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date.
