McMullin, Darrell Francis.

Darrell McMullin was called peacefully home to the Lord on May 1, 2020. Darrell was born on August 10, 1947 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. He was the son of George and Ethel McMullin. He lived in Glace Bay and was a member of Saint Anne's Parish. On August 30, 1969, Darrell married his "highschool sweetheart", Margaret Christine (Wilson) McMullin. For over 50 years they lived an amazing life together. Darrell retired from the position of CFO at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and spent his leisure time as an avid collector of items of interest. One of Darrell's greatest pleasures was basking in the accomplishments of his children.

Darrell is survived by his beloved wife, Margie, his sons, Darren, Trevor (Michelle) and Brent (Rita); grandfather to Anthony,  Ashley, Dylan, Jessica, Megan, Emily, Joey, Derick, Renae, Ryan, Adam and Kristen, and also his great grandchild Violet; dearly loved sisters Anne Wells, Rose MacGillivary and brothers Joe, Robert and David McMullin. His sisters-in-law Marilyn, Myrna and Jeanette McMullin. He was predeceased by his son Terry; brother George and Sister Marie McMullin; brothers- in- law, Jackie Wells and Pius MacGillivary.

The family would ask in lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Heart and Stroke foundation.  Due to the current state of affairs, services will be announced at a later date.
