Dorothy Kennedy

It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother, sister, and aunt Dorothy T Kennedy (Almon) on April 8, 2021. Born in Sydney on April 3, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Baptiste and Emily (MacMullin) Almon.  Dorothy is survived by sons John of New Waterford and Dwight of Toronto, brother Denis Almon of North Sydney, and sister-in-law Dorothy "Dottie" Almon of North Sydney.

Dorothy was predeceased by husband Randolph Kennedy, brothers Lawrence, Gregory, Robert, Jackie, Harold, and Joesph; sisters Beatrice, Frances R.N. Loretta, and Marguerite R.N. Dorothy was an exceptional baker and cook, enjoyed watching documentaries and keeping up with world news Due to Covid19 restriction's Dorothy will be interred At St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery in Bras d'Or at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
