Edgar "Ed" McLeod

Edgar Roy McLeod – Sydney Forks

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edgar “Ed” McLeod on June 25, 2020 at his residence. Born in Port Caledonia, he was a son of the late John Angus and Robena (Boutilier) McLeod. Ed served in the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Canadian Armed Forces from March, 1949 – June, 1981. As well as Canada, Ed served in England, Germany and Egypt.

Surviving are his loving wife, the former Joan Ann McDougall; step sons Bryan, Vince and Brent Kennedy and step son Jack Helpard from his first marriage. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Blanche; step son Robert; brother Floyd and Cecil in infancy.

By request there will be no formal service. Cremation has taken place and donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
