It is with our deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Elizabeth Mary Cameron on the morning of March 6th, 2021 at the age of 70. As the sun began to rise so did her beautiful spirit. Born in New Waterford, Liz was the eldest daughter of the late Joey and Hester (Duddie) Perfect. Besides her parents, Liz was predeceased by her sisters Joyce MacLellan and Rose Poirier, her brothers Danny, John Joe and Gerard Perfect along with her beloved husband Danny Cameron. Liz is survived by her daughter Lisa who graciously cared for her these past few years, her loving baby brother Timmy Perfect (Evelyn) who shared a special bond with his big sister, her two wonderful grandchildren Brooke (her sunshine), Cameron (her lil' man) who meant the world to her, lifelong friends Lucille, Theresa, and Marion (Newf) who she loved like her own sisters; Also our very special aunt Christie Burke; as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family, dear friends and neighbours who Liz has forever left a mark on. Over the years, Liz worked at Malcolm Munroe Junior High, she babysat many special children who she loved like her own. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a caretaker for the elderly. Her loving and outgoing nature was a gift to those around her. Liz was always young at heart with an infectious personality. Although there were many “Little Liz’s” in the family who wanted to be just like her, there was only ever one fashionista Liz. She had a heart of gold and some of her favourite memories were her Sunday visits with Danny going from house to house spending time with friends and family over hot cups of tea and great music. This continued as Nanny to Brooke and Cameron who shared such a special bond with her. She was so proud of them in every way. As “Ma’ to her daughter Lisa, she was the epitome of beauty and strength. Lisa was always by her side and Liz found great comfort in having her there. Although Liz endured much loss over the years, she will always be remembered for her strength and grace. Throughout her own illness, her resilience was admirable and her faith kept her strong knowing she would eventually be reunited with her family and her life’s love Danny. She will be greatly missed and forever cherished.
