It is with broken hearts and deep sorrow we announce the passing of Frank MacEachern of Sydney, NS on August 8, 2021 after a two year battle with asbestos cancer. Frank passed peacefully at home with Brian and Taylor at his side. Born and raised in Grand Mira, he was the son of the late John and Katie MacEachern. He is survived by his three children Brian, Laura and Blair, seven grandchildren Keagan, Kaitlyn, Shelby, Caitly, Liam, Taylor and Ryan. He is also survived by his only sister Anne MacNeil and former wife Carolyn MacEachern. Also survived by sisters-in-law Jean (Roddie) Musgrave, Martina Coffin, Darlene (Ed) Gibson, Elaine (Sheldon) Mikkelson, Margaret Ellen Currie, Sherry Morrison and brother-in-law Larry (Susan) Currie. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, his mother and father in law John and Christina Currie, brothers-in-law Martin MacNeil, John Currie, Darrell Currie, Doug Dicks, Carmen Coffin and sister-in-law Diane Currie.
Frank started working at the Sydney Steel Plant in the 70’s and finished his career with CBRM. Frank “Ragon” was a quiet and easy going man who never complained and was well liked by everyone. He will be greatly missed by family and friends and especially by his sidekick Taylor.
