It is broken hearts and profound sadness that we the family of Frank Phillip Williams, age 74 announce his passing on March 29, 2021 in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Stanley and Clara (Sargeant) Williams.
Frank was an avid stock car driver (Flower Power #70) and loved bowling, darts, gardening and playing guitar. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Hellen (Miller), sons Gary and Glenn; daughter in law Alura; grandson Michael; granddaughters Katelin and Shannon, and great grandson Austin. He is also survived by his sister Elsie (Fred) Furlong; brother Jim (June) Williams as well as many nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his brothers Stan, Cecil, Norman, Nicholas, Raymond and a sister Minnie.
A Celebration of Frank's life will take place 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the Forest Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel (by the pond).
The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses in Palliative Care and also a special thank you to the friends and relatives that reached out to comfort the family.
