Henry James Parsons passed away on November 4, 2024 at the age of 82 cared for until the end by the wonderful team at the Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Rose Blanche, Newfoundland he was the son of the late Henry Parsons and Hannah (Brown) Parsons.
He was employed at Devco for 35 years. In his younger years he was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a past member of Ground Search Rescue and the N.S. Wildlife Federation.
Henry is survived by three children; Joey Parsons, Darren Parsons and Darlene Schruder (Ron) and his sister, Annie Payne and four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary Parsons, his sister, Meta Robblee and his brother David Parsons.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers a donation could be made to Palliative Care Unit at Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or of one’s choice.
