Irene Campbell

Age 95, passed Oct 28, 2023 at McGillivray Guest Home.

Born in Gabarus Lake to Donald John and Mary Catherine MacVicar, She was predeceased by her husband John "Diddy", son Eric, brother Donald and sister-in-law Doris.  She is survived by her daughter Kathy (Brian) Lavery, her son Craig (Brenda), daughter-in-law Cassandra, brothers; Earl and Neil (Maria).  She has 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces

Irene worked as a secretary at the Steel Plant and in various schools through out the Sydney area.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends travelling and playing darts. 

Services will be held 11 am Wednesday November 1^st, at St Marguerite Bourgeous  Irene will be interred at Resurrection with her husband and son.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Zion Wesley United Church in Gabarus Lake c/o Ann.macleod@icloud.com
