An extraordinary woman, strong willed, determined and kind-hearted. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jennie Mary Kennedy on August 3, 2023 surrounded by her son and grandchildren. Born August 6, 1925 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

 Jennie was predeceased by her late husband of  over 75 years, Francis Elliot Kennedy. She is survived by her son Francis (Patricia) and 7 grandchildren, along with their families; Cookie, Tia, Elizabeth, Michael, Beverly, Joshua, Delores; 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Jennie was predeceased by brothers Jim and Mike, sisters Annie, Sally, and Pauline, grandchildren Ducky, Sandy (Bo), Sandy James and Kirk.

No visitations by request. A small, private service will be held on August 9 at 10:00am with her immediate family.

 We wish to thank the medical staff for their many years of care. She will be missed by all that knew her.
