Lisa Ann Slaunwhite

It’s with very heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Lisa Ann Slaunwhite, 29 May, 2020 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 53.

Loving daughter of Harold (Butch) Slaunwhite and Marie Slaunwhite (Slade). Cherished mother, she and Jim had of five beautiful children, Leaha, Laura, Samantha, Matthew and Lisamarie. Grandmother of 4, Angelina, Landon, Logan and Grace. Lisa is survived by her sisters; Stella, Cherry and Angel, and brothers; Jamie, Michael, Jay and Reggie. She was predeceased by her grandparents Harold (Buster) Slaunwhite and Sarah Jane Slaunwhite. She will be fondly remembered by her aunts, uncles, cousins, her bestie “Patti” and extended friends and family.

Lisa was a hard and dedicated worker, becoming a hairdresser was a goal she pursued and loved for many years. She then discovered her true passion, which was taking care of the elderly, she loved it as much as they loved her. Lisa will be sadly missed and forever remembered for her huge loving heart and infectious smile.

A cremation has taken place in Alberta and a Celebration of Life will take place in Cape Breton, at a location and date to be announced. If you wish to make a donation in memory of Lisa, please consider the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
