Myrtle Verla Sidney

Myrtle Verla (Lowe) Sidney, born April 15, 1935 in Humber Bay Ontario, died suddenly October 14, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Leonard G. and their 3 children; Christine & husband Patrick and their 2 children; David & Dale Kearney, Steven & wife Susan and their 2 children; Brigette Martin & Laura Walker, Leonard & wife Leona and their 3 children; Stephanie Bryant, Kyle & Daniel McIsaac. Also survived by many great grandchildren. 

 Myrtle moved with her husband and daughter from Etobicoke Ontario to Sydney, Cape Breton in 1960. Myrtle & family eventually moved to Dominion. She was preceded by her parents, sister and her brother. Myrtle was active in many clubs; ladies card games, bowling. Some hobbies were sewing, knitting, taking many craft classes with her daughter, and dabbled with paint by numbers. She made the best bread ever and received the VON achievement award and a Senior Maintaining Active Role.
