Norma Marie Patterson

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our Mother, Grandmother and friend on March 7th, 2025.

Norma loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. She was a member of Ross’s Ferry Crafters and was known for her homemade bread and fudge. She was a talented lady in everything she did, knitting, bunka or just being a mom and wife which is where she truly shined.

Norma is survived by her son Norman Patterson (Ann), daughter Bonnie Banks (Gerard), Guysborough, daughter Jo-Anne, Florida, sister Harriette Stroud, Ontario, Glendon Stroud (Winnie), Wanda (Harry) Harbin, North Sydney, Alvin (Karen) Stroud, grandchildren Nicole, Kevin and Keith Patterson, Halifax, Gordon and Ian, Florida and one great grandchild Kylie.

Predeceased by her husband Gordon Patterson and son in law Glenn Mills.

As per Norma’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

A special thank you to Sandra Moore Kanne for her many visits to Mom and for being a wonderful friend. Also her caregivers Tanya Piercey and Cheryl Burke for your compassion and caring, you made Mom very happy.
