It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Norman "Scott" MacDougall, 45, of Blacketts Lake, NS on September 30, 2020.
Scott was born in Halifax N.S. March 29, 1975 to the Late Ruth (nee Russell) MacDougall and Lorne MacDougall. He spent his working years at Servicom, MacDonald Kia, and as a Supervisor at the Sydney Call Centre.
Young at heart and an endless source of good humour, Scott had the gift of filling life with fun. It was no surprise to find Scott dressing up the dogs and taking them out for a coffee. Scott was a genuine animal lover and whether it be for their beloved dogs, birds, rabbits, or cats, his passion was shared with the love of his life JD. Together for over 15 years they were happy to simply pick up a Tim’s and drive with the dogs to a country destination while listening to 80's music, or to lie back watching retro TV Shows together.
Scott was preceded in death by his sister; Terese Lynn and beloved parents Ruth and Lorne. He will be sadly missed by his life-partner JD MacDonald, brother Michael (Carrie), Ben Eoin, his precious nephew Colton and niece Kylie, and his Mother-in-law Evelyn (David) Morrison. He leaves behind many uncles, aunts, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as countless friends. He will also be missed by his ‘family’ of Team Members and Co-workers.
A graveside Service will be held on Tuesday October 6th at 11AM at Resurrection Cemetery, 2643 Kings Road, Sydney Forks. We invite friends to share poems and thoughts about our beloved Scott. (Due to Covid-19 Restrictions this will be an outdoor gathering.)
