Phyllis Marie MacKinnon

It is with sadness, we announce the passing of Phyllis Marie (Morrison) MacKinnon on June 6, 2023 at the CBRH, after a long battle with dementia. She was born in New Waterford on July 25, 1940, daughter of the late Charles and Mary Ellen (Lever) Morrison.

Phyllis is survived by husband, Gordon John, sons; Raymond and Kenneth, Grandchildren; Kenny of New Waterford and Brandon of Red Deer, Ab.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son Douglas and brothers; Charles and Raymond.

Phyllis worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Dan Nathanson, until his retirement, a dedicated worker and mother, beloved by family and friends. She will be missed by all, especially her best friend Yvonne Gillis.

Cremation has taken place under the guidance of Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, as requested there will be no funeral or service.
