Rachael "Susan" Adams

Adams, Rachael Susannah (Susan) – Sydney
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Susan Adams on August 4, 2020 at Seaview Manor,
Glace Bay.
Born in Lamaline, NFLD on February 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Eric and Laura Hillier.
She was employed as a Caregiver with City Homemakers for many years until her own health was
challenged. A kind, generous, loving and hardworking woman, she loved her family dearly and loved
spending time with them. She was outgoing and enjoyed socializing with family and friends.
Susan was a member of Christ The King Anglican Church.
Surviving are daughters Beth (Perry) Corbett, Sydney; Joanne Adams, New Waterford; Donna (Jim)
Adderson, Dartmouth; grandchildren Jennifer, Jamie, Jody, Amanda, Victoria, Alexandra and Patrick, as
well as 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Maxwell Adams.
A time of celebration where family and friends can come together to share stories of Susan will be
announced when social gatherings are permitted. The family would like to express their gratitude for the
exceptional care Susan received at Seaview Manor. Donations in her memory may be made to Christ The
King Anglican Church or the charity of your choice.
