Theresa Jacobi

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Theresa died at the age of 86 on March 13th, 2021 at the CBRH surrounded by her loving daughters.

Theresa enjoyed time with her sisters going to her sister Mabels for a good game of scat & their monthly trips to the casino. She also enjoyed her trips to L'Ardoise to visit her sister Lena. She also enjoyed going out for dinner with her, shopping with her grandchildren & taking part in all the activities especially bingo and bowling at Maple Hill Manor where she reside. She will be remembered for her amazing smile and the immense joy she took in everyday drama. Theresa was born in Whitney Pier on September 26th, 1934 to the late Thomas and Beatrice (Hiscock) Heffernan. She was was also predeceased by her husband Eric & son Timmy, her sisters Phobe Landry, Mabel Joseph, Margaret MacNeil, Gertrude Hines & Catherine Stapleton and by her brothers Richard, Thomas, John, William, Patrick, James and Michael. She is survived by her children, Barbara (Robert) Hennick, Terry, Karen, Kenny and Shaun (Cynthia) and her grandchildren Tammy, Tara, Jason, Ashley, Brandi, Brandan, Kayla, Robert, Alissa, Bradley, Dillon, Justin, Cailin, Shaun Micheal, Eric and Madison. Also her great grandchildren Caiden, Seth, Gavin, Ayvah, Zachary, Alexis, Miquell, Maximus, Athena, Sydney, Hazel, Meadow, Kieden, Alieyah, Breton and her special girl Brianna. Also by her last surviving sister Madeline (Ray) Bona and Mary Leadbeater who was like a daughter to her.

A special thanks to Maple Hill Manor who went above and beyond making her feel at home and the excellent care and compassion they gave to her & Dennis who made her feel like a "Queen".

Cremation has taken place under the care of Forest haven Memorial Gardens. A service in Theresa memory will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Maple Hill Manor.  Expressions of sympathy can be left by selecting the condolences tab above.
