About Us

Born in Cape Breton and raised with respectful traditions and a deep sense of Community.  In 2005, David had the opportunity to take ownership and leapt at the chance to ensure the grounds were cared for with Love and Respect, as his own Mother is laid to rest at Forest Haven.

Lilli graduated in 2016 from the Canadian College of Funeral Services in British Columbia. Moving her family to Cape Breton in 2017 gave her the opportunity to serve the community, learning it's rich culture and traditions. Lilli joined the team at Forest Haven in 2022 bringing her passion for service and knowledgeable expertise.

Lilli enjoys spending time with her family, whether in the garden, walking trails, or with her nose in a good book. 

Lillian is a Licensed Sales Counsellor and our resident Specialist, having spent over 30 years working with families to memorialize their loved ones. Her memory for faces and family history is astounding. From finding your loved one’s property to helping design the perfect Memorial Marker,   Lillian is our Expert!

Lillian enjoys spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, around the kitchen table, over a great meal! Lillian loves a good BBQ and a game of washer toss!

Cathy comes to the team with 40+ years of banking experience, She takes care of all the Pre-Arrangements, ensuring your investment is protected and registered.  We count on her to Count!!

Stephanie brings years of customer service to the team, and has a great eye for detail. Serving families and funeral homes with care and compassion, Stephanie ensures every burial is booked with ease.

Stephanie is a Kitty Mama of 3, enjoys spending time outdoors with her partner, and cooking for all of us here at Forest Haven!

Michelle is our super star behind the scenes. She takes care of the details to keep operations flowing. Whether paying the bills, watering the plants or solving a problem, Michelle’s smile smooths everything!
